Renee Good's former sister-in-law Morgan Fletcher dismantles the lies about the beloved slain mother, including a smear that she had a "criminal record," and urges Americans to remember her as a "human being."

"We are grieving. Heavily. And yes, we see everyone's posts and comments. Some in support but also, the nasty ones ripping apart our beautiful and beloved Renee," Fletcher wrote in a since-deleted Facebook post. "And we've seen the false claims and the wrong Renee Good's info being posted (criminal history? She didn't have one)."

Completely false claims about Good's past have spread like wildfire throughout right-wing social media as Trump's most ardent supporters clamor to believe the absolute worst about the innocent mother.

Fletcher wrote that she never expected a loved one's death to be "so high profile" or a "massively divisive, political topic." The Trump administration is directly responsible for that politicization since Trump and Kristo Noem immediately rushed to smear Good as a terrorist. The truth doesn't matter to them, they care only about defending their fascist enforcers.

"No matter where you stand on the issue of ICE or whether or not you think she did or didn't deserve what happened, please remember she was a human being and she had loved ones … including children who can and will likely see all of these things about their mother... and her wife, whom she loved dearly," Fletcher wrote.

"Please remember to BE KIND. And if you claim to be a Christian, especially, please check your heart, attitude, and response to the tragic death. For they will know you by your fruits," she added.

It's unclear why Fletcher deleted the post, but given the outpouring of hatred from the frothing MAGA crowd, she can hardly be blamed. Once Republicans decide that you're a political enemy, the death threats are never far behind.
